PARTNERS OF THE RESIL4CARE PROJECT
The Resil4Care project is developed by six European organizations from France, Greece, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom and Slovenia.
Interactive 4D
INTERACTIVE 4D is a French SME specialized since 2010 in the design and development of serious games and gamified e-learning tools for the following fields:
- Professional training (learning games, LMS platforms and gamified e-learning modules).
- Education and public awareness (cultural heritage, environment, cybersecurity, entrepreneurship…).
- E-health (health assessment tools, telemedicine, health education of patients, training of healthcare professionals).
In the Resil4Care project, INTERACTIVE 4D is responsible for the design and the development of the gamification platform which offers a training program based on educational content designed by the project partners.
Interactive 4D is also in charge of the design of the website and its periodic updates.
LAS NAVES
LAS NAVES is a Foundation promoted by València City Council whose aim is to promote urban innovation putting people at the center of innovative action. It accompanies processes and initiatives that can provide innovative solutions to the real problems of citizenship and urban challenges, strengthening the social structures of the territory, through knowledge and technology, putting innovation at the service of citizenship, to contribute to governance and social cohesion. Las Naves aims to make Valencia an innovation city lab to validate innovative solutions and thus to generate evidence that lead to quality decision making on public policies, evaluating them to scale up as public services. The main purpose is to improve health, welfare, autonomy, social inclusion, participation and quality of life of citizens. Hence, Las Naves deploys within the city Living labs and pilot projects that test and validate innovative technologies and solutions tackling with city challenges.
FRODIZO
FRODIZO located in Patras – West Greece, is a nongovernmental, nonprofit organization for the provision of health and social care services to elderly and disabled people in order for them to retain their maximum level of autonomy and well being.
FRODIZO organizes and participates in various educational and research activities and initiatives that promote active ageing, ageing well, independent living and social inclusion of elderly and disabled.
FRODIZO disposes also a day care center for people suffering from dementia and for their caregivers, under the authority of the Greek State.
Our main activities include:
• Health and social care services to elderly and disabled, as well as to older people suffering from a chronic disease
• Participation and orgnaization of social inclusion activities and programs
• Education and training actions that preserve the quality of life of older people
• Education and training for carergivers of older people
Our personnel consists of professionals and scientists from different health and social care domains as it is gerontologist, psychiatrist, psychologists, social workers, physiotherapists, administrative staff. In FRODIZO are also enlisted more than 50 volunteers that constantly participate in the different actions of the organization and enrich FRODIZO’s effectiveness and field of intervention. Furthermore, our organization disposes a very wide network of collaborating organizations and Institutes of social and health care character in West Greece periphery as well as in National level.
I.S.R.A.A.
I.S.R.A.A. is an Italian public senior care provider based in Treviso. 700 employees: 70 nurses, 350 carers, 15 psychologists, 17 physical rehabilitation trainers, 12 GPs, 21 care managers. I.S.R.A.A. covers a wide range of the possible needs of seniors: 600 seniors with dementia disease in home care, 850 living in 4 nursing homes, 2 day care centres completely dedicated to seniors suffering from different types and levels of dementia. ISRAA also provides 32 flats for autonomous seniors. I.S.R.A.A. has knowledge and experience in assisting seniors to remain independent as much as possible despite their functional and cognitive limitations, by promoting positive feelings in an age-friendly environment, to improve the seniors’ self-efficacy and to raise their perception of quality of life.
At EU level I.S.R.A.A is member of EIP-AHA initiative as member taking part of D4 AFE group and coordinating C2.5 Group on Business model in care and ICT design for olders, of S.I.P.I. (Italian Society of Psychology on Ageing – Padua University), ENSA Network, ELISAN Network, Nord Sea Dementia Group. In 2013/2015 I.S.R.A.A was a partner in LLP-GRUNDTVIG, Project named “IN MOTION”, with methodological supervisor role to define specific guidelines for active aging and healthy lifestyles about nutrition, motion and cognitive stimulation.
Since 2013 I.S.R.A.A has been involved as partner and lead applicant in several EU programmes tackling various themes:
- Frailty prevention in 3rd Health Programme: SEFAC Project
- Raising awareness about ageism (WISELIFE), support the resilience of informal caregivers with social media (RESIL4CARE), promotion of physical activity in the third age (PA4AGE), training for health and social practitioners about Parkinson disease (SUPER) and aggressive behaviors of older people (PRAGRESS) and prevention of heat waves (HOPE) in Erasmus+ Programme
- User engagement and codesign in the use of technology for the independent living of older and for the early diagnosis of the major neurological diseases that are ValueCare project (H2020 DTH11-2019) and niCE Life Project in Interreg Central Europe.
- Seniors social isolation using ICT tools in Interreg IT-AT: E.CA.R.E Project
- Development of an age friendly environment in Interreg Alpine Space Programme: TAAFE Project.
IVASS
The Valencian Institute of Social Services (IVASS), with its own legal status, assets and resources, has the capacity to manage the policy of the Valencian Regional Government (Generalitat Valenciana) in the fields of :
social welfare, elderly people, dependency and care of people with intellectual disabilities.
It provides assistance and acts in terms of social services and socio-health care; in addition, it protects, safeguards and guardianships persons with judicially modified capacity whose attribution are with the Generalitat Valenciana itself.
IVASS has more than 30 daycare centers, residences, occupational centers and sheltered houses, where its 800 professionals such as, physiotherapists, psychologists, nurses, carergivers, occupational therapists, social workers, and so on, who dedicate their efforts to the attention and care of 1.200 people with social care needs, it provides them, in a participatory manner, the necessary support for their integral development with quality service.
At IVASS, as a public entity, we work to consolidate a Quality Service, where ethics, the protection of the rights of our users or those who may request our services, and transparency, are the basis of the Commitment to improving Quality of life. Dialogue and mediation as communication tools are the pillars of IVASS; they are combined with the value of learning how to innovate.

IAT
Anton Trstenjak Institute of Gerontology and Intergenerational Relations (IAT), established in 1992, is the leading expert institution on ageing in Slovenia.
Its experts are often invited by policy makers and public administration to contribute in preparation of national strategies and programs (e.g. Active Ageing Strategy 2018, Long Term Care Act 2020 etc.). IAT has experiences and in-depth knowledge in ageing research and implementation of projects for healthy and active ageing and intergenerational relations.
Most important activities:
- Collecting gerontological knowledge and its distribution,
- Development of social network programs for quality ageing, health and well-
being of older people, - Implementation of various researches and prevention programs and projects for older people, with a focus on informal care,
- Coordination of WHO’s network of age-friendly cities and municipalities in Slovenia,
- Participation in national and international projects related to active ageing, social inclusion, informal care, housing etc.,
- Providing courses of practical social and peer-to-peer learning,
- Coordination of volunteer programs for intergenerational individual companionship as well as self-help groups for active and heathy ageing,
- Publishing a scientific quarterly journal Good Quality of Old Age and variety of other books and brochures.
Currently there are nine full-time employees, most of them have already participated in national and EU funded projects. In addition to employed staff IAT regularly cooperates with many experts and professionals from lifelong learning, social, educational and health sectors. It also coordinates a network with dozens of self-help groups and hundreds of volunteers of all ages.
